Summer Lawn Care

If you put the hard work in throughout spring, then by summer the lawn should already be well established, but like anything, it will need a little work to keep on top of it and maintain its condition.

Mowing

The growth of the lawn may have actually started to slow down as temperatures increase in summer. Mow as and when necessary, subject to the conditions, never taking more than a quarter of the leaf off. During dry conditions, we recommend increasing the cutting height as longer grass will cope better with any adverse weather conditions.
