Can be mown as low as 5mm
For greens 5-8mm is recommended
For tees 10-12mm is recommended
Typically, longer grass will cope better with intensive use
For bunker tops it can be left to grow without mowing to give a more natural look

Turf is supplied in conventional rolls, covering 1 square metre. Each roll measures 0.61m (24”) by 1.64m (65”).

Big rolls covering 15 square metres are also available upon request, with the width measuring either 0.6m (24”) or 1.2m (48”).

The following growing mediums are also available when accompanying a turf delivery, if required:

Establish Fertiliser (20kg bag). Easy to spread 30% organic granular fertiliser.
Go Green Top Soil (bulk bag).
General Purpose Bark Mulch (bulk bag). A high quality mixed conifer bark. 35-60mm particle size range and a minimum effective depth of 50mm. 2-3 years durability.
Premium Ornamental/Play Grade Bark Mulch (bulk bag). A deluxe pine bark. 18-35mm particle size range and a minimum effective depth of 100mm. 3-5 years durability. It is child friendly and will not stain clothing.
TerraCottem Turf Soil Conditioner (available by the kg).

Where something a bit different to traditional turf is required, Rhizomatous Tall Fescue can prove invaluable. It is particularly deep rooting and produces rhizomes (underground stems) for repairing damaged areas. It is ideal for applications that require really tough turf like private lawns, football fields and many other applications likely to be subject to heavy wear and tear.
